Highlight

Monica Holguin is an aggressive player on both ends of the floor. She is able to create shots off the dribble and can score from all parts of the floor. Defensively she was consistently assigned the other team’s best player to guard. However, her stats don’t show the intangibles that separate her from her peers: her leadership, toughness, and her desire to win. She will take big shots when they’re needed, but she will find her teammates and make the proper basketball play when she recognizes the situation. Her playmaking ability is great, but her ability to think while playing makes her an asset to her teammates and coaches alike. She can identify and execute game plans – a skill that she has worked hard to develop. Holguin’s competitiveness and work ethic combined with her talent make her a model player for any organization.
