He averaged just over 12 PPG while shooting 46% from the 3PT line his last year there.Although Tuskegee is a Division 2 school, they play in the SIAC which is one of the most respected D2 conferences in the country.  They turn out pro players every year, and from his school alone, players have gone on to play in Germany, Switzerland, and the Virgin Islands.  He was also a redshirt player on scholarship at Division I Alabama A&M for a year prior.You'll see in his highlight tape he is a smooth point guard who has no trouble getting in the lane and getting all the way to the rim or pulling up from mid range.  He also has shown throughout the course of career he is a consistent long-range threat (46% 3PT).As a pro, Lorell has had stellar seasons with the Rome Gladiators (Rome, GA) of the WBA, the Kankakee Soldiers (Kankakee, IL) and the Milwaukee Storm Basketball Club (Milwaukee, WI); where he averaged 17.2 ppg, 3apg, 3 rpg over his career. In addition, Lorell was called to joined the Milwaukee Falcons (IBA) for their 2017 season, where he averaged 20 ppg, 4 apg, 4 rpg. Lorell was also offered twice by Chris Mellor of the Bradford Dragons (UK) EBL Division 1 team, however due to financial hardships, the organization was unable to finalize the offers. Lorell was also a member of the USA Select team, and also an all-star of the exposure camp.
