EUROPEAN Basketball College Exposure Camp

To Whom It May Concern: DoDDS-Europe fully supports the “European College Exposure Camp” to be held in Bonn, Germany, March 23rd, 24th, 25th, 2012. This camp offers a unique opportunity for our high school basketball players to display their talents to college coaches and play against some of the top international players here in Europe. With our athletes being far removed from stateside recruiting opportunities, our system is grateful to be invited to events such as this. DoDDS-E hereby sanctions this event and will continue to do so in the future. Through our sanctioning of this event, it is our hope that Division I collegiate coaches will be able to attend this event in accordance with NCAA recruiting regulations. It is rare when we can provide such a unique experience for our students to be exposed to the opportunity to gain a Division I scholarship in the United States . This camp has been offered for the last 8 years and every year coaches from the US have been in attendance and players have received scholarships for an NCAA school, NAIA school, Junior College or Community College.
