Shacondra “Connie” James has made her presence known throughout the
NCAA1 women’s basketball association, North East Conference, and the
Long Island Women’s Basketball Program. She is widely known for her
athleticism, quickness, and agility. Connie is one of the most
impressive defensive players in the NEC. She averages 9.2 points per
game while being ranked 10th in NEC assists, 3rd
in NEC steals, and 17th in NEC rebounds per game. She led
the Long Island Blackbirds in blocks and steals, and ranked second
in Blackbird assists. She went to WNIT as a LIU freshman, NEC
