HIGHLIGHTS Player Bio:
Eastern Arizona: (NJCAA) Freshman Year: Academic All-Conference, third team all-conference. Won the regular season. Leading 3pt shooter in the nation by the makes and by percentage (90-180). Sophomore year: Academic All-American, won the conference tournament and 5th place at national Hutchinson. Southern Nazarene University (NAIA D1) Junior year: appeared in 35 games, starting six, in his first year at Southern Nazarene. For the year, Bulut averaged 7.4 points per game and earned Academic All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors for his efforts on the court and in the classroom. Bulut was SNU's best three-point shooter, hitting 43.5% of his attempts from three (57-of-131), which ranks 4th best all-time for a single season in SNU history. Bulut connected on 40% of his shots from the floor and was 23-of-33 from the free throw line (69.7%). Bulut also averaged 3.1 rebounds per game.
Senior Year:
appeared in 31 games, starting eleven. Led the team in scoring on
the national tournament leading it to elite eight Kansas City 2010.
