Player Bio:

Excellent perimeter shooter and 3pt shooter up to NBA range. Good shooter coming coming off screens. Able to spread out defense and can utilize his best potential with a good center or point guard that likes to drive and kick it out. Has a great feeling for finding space and scoring on the break. A team oriented player with a high basketball IQ and a great understanding for both European and US basketball. Takes good care of the ball (less than 1 TO per game) with ability to make teammates better sharing the ball and feeding the post. Selfless on both ends of the court, focused under pressure and security for the coach at the foul line with the game on the line (89%). Strong body presence that can defend bigger guys as well as outside players. I find myself as a student of the game feeling like having another coach on the floor. Best compared to Peja Stojakovic.

Eastern Arizona: (NJCAA)

Freshman Year: Academic All-Conference, third team all-conference. Won the regular season. Leading 3pt shooter in the nation by the makes and by percentage (90-180).

Sophomore year: Academic All-American, won the conference tournament and 5th place at national Hutchinson.

Southern Nazarene University (NAIA D1)

Junior year: appeared in 35 games, starting six, in his first year at Southern Nazarene. For the year, Bulut averaged 7.4 points per game and earned Academic All-Sooner Athletic Conference honors for his efforts on the court and in the classroom. Bulut was SNU's best three-point shooter, hitting 43.5% of his attempts from three (57-of-131), which ranks 4th best all-time for a single season in SNU history. Bulut connected on 40% of his shots from the floor and was 23-of-33 from the free throw line (69.7%). Bulut also averaged 3.1 rebounds per game.

Senior Year: appeared in 31 games, starting eleven. Led the team in scoring on the national tournament leading it to elite eight Kansas City 2010. Averaged just under 16 ppg and 7 rpg

“SNU will be sad to lose senior Vladimir Bulut. Bulut had an outstanding tournament for SNU and was an exceptional leader. Bulut averaged just over 15 points per game in SNU's three tournament games. He has been a great player the last two years and will be nearly impossible to replace.” – SNU Head Coach
