Post College

After graduating from Fairfield, I became a member of the Belize National Basketball Team that played in the COCABA Tournament in Cancun, Mexico, which was played August 10 – August 14th 2009.  After going 4-0, against Nicaragua, Guatemala, Panama and Costa Rica, Belize played in the championship game against the host country Mexico, and lost to Mexico with a score of 106-103, coming away with the Silver Cup.

2008-2009

I went over the 900-point marker for my career at Fairfield University with a total of 920 points.  I also connected on 128 three-point baskets, ranking sixth all-time at Fairfield.  I was one of three players to shoot at least 50 percent during the three-day Puerto Rico Tip-Off Tournament.  I tossed in 10.7 points per game and short 50 percent (11 of 22), and scoring in double figures against Virginia Tech (11) and Missouri (12).  I ended the season averaging 9.6ppg 2.8 apg and 2.0rpg, and during conference play I was the 2nd leading scorer on the team just averaging under 11 points per game.  I became the team leader and averaged 17.1 points per game during the last eight games of the regular season.

2007-08
I became one of the team's most dependable scorers over the course of the 2007-08 season.  After scoring 18 points in the first eight games, I went on to average 11.2 points per game over the rest of the season.  I averaged 8.8 points per game overall, which placed me third on the team.  I led all Fairfield scorers in MAAC play, netting 12.2 points per game.  At one point during the regular season, I led the MAAC in free throw percentage and finished the season with a .833 mark. However, I did not have enough attempts to qualify for the final rankings (2.5 per game).  I posted 14 consecutive free throws twice during the regular season with one of the runs reaching 15.  I tallied a career-high 23 points against Loyola, the first of five straight games of double-figure scoring and finished with 12 games in double digits.  I emerged as one of the top three-point shooters for the Fairfield Stags, shooting 40 percent from behind the arc (35 of 87).  I also proved worthy with the basketball, making just 39 turnovers in 30 games.  I dished off 66 assists for an average of 3.3 per game, placing me second on the team.

2006-07
I came off the bench in all but two games during the season, and performed well as one of the team's top reserves.  The team won my two starts, which improved the Stags' record to 5-2 when I was in the starting lineup throughout the first two years.  Seven of my eight double-digit scoring efforts were as a reserve with the lone exception coming in my first start (10 points vs. Mississippi).  I was one of the team's top three-point shooters with one three-point basket in 15 of 32 games.  Five of my final six baskets were from behind the three-point line.  I tallied 10 or more points in three straight games for the first time in my career with 13 points at Niagara, 11 points vs. Rider, and 15 points at Iona.  I surpassed that 15-point performance with a season-high 19 markers in a win over Saint Peter's.  I placed third amongst my teammates with five steals at Saint Peter's, which was the most by any Stag during the 2006-07 season.  I developed into a dependable free throw shooter by hitting 70.8 percent of my shots, placing me 15th in the conference.

2005-06
I became a reliable scorer during the second half of the season, which helped me garner five starts (at Marist, Rider, Niagara, at Siena, and Iona).  Over the last 16 regular season games, I averaged 9.3 points per game, which was aided by seven double-figure scoring efforts. I scored 28 points in the first 11 games of the season, but exploded for 17 points in a win at Rider in January.  I went on to score in double digits four of the next six games, which allowed me to average 13.1 points per game during the stretch.  I earned the MAAC Rookie of the Week award on January 16 after averaging 12.3 points per game in a 2-1 week for the Stags.  I showed my ability to score quickly at Iona. After going scoreless in the opening 20 minutes, me as a freshman tallied 16 points in the second half.  I averaged better than one assist per game, and had more assists (33) than turnovers (29). I capped the regular season by earning a spot on the MAAC All-Rookie team, after averaging 8.6 points per game against conference foes.

Before College
I went to Fairfield University after a highly successful career at Bishop Loughlin Memorial High School in Brooklyn, NY.  I was an instrumental player in the team's run to the Diocesan tournament championship under Head Coach Khalid Greene.  I scored 32 points in the semi-final victory over ranked Christ the King, which included the game-winning hoop with four seconds remaining.  I averaged nearly 13 points per game as a senior. I received several honors during my career, including a spot on the All-CHSAA team.  As a senior, I played in the prestigious Jordan Classic Regional game, leading the city team with 19 points and four three-point baskets in a 104-89 loss against the suburban squad, and I was also nominated to be a McDonald All-American.  In my junior year, I received All-City honors.
