During his junior season at Oral Roberts University, Allen played in 17 games, including in ORU’s first-round loss to Pittsburgh in the NCAA Tournament... Allen averaged 3.7 points, 1.8 rebounds, and 10.2 minutes of playing time per contest. He scored a season-high nine points twice, including in the season opener. 
Signed with Kansas State out of high school and saw action as a freshman, averaging 1.5 points and 0.8 rebounds in 21 games... Had a season-best eight points against Arkansas-Pine Bluff and then had six points, two rebounds, two assists and one steal in a win overColorado… During his
sophomore year, Allen saw action in 22 of the team’s 28 games and averaged 2.4 points, 1.8 rebounds and 7.3 minutes of playing time per game… He scored a season-high seven points in three different games and had four points, seven rebounds, two assists, one block and one steal in a game against Texas A&M
