Head Coach Todd Sheppard (ABAC) on Shingles…

“While watching Brandon during the recruiting process it became clear to me that he was the perfect player for our style of play.  He is a true playmaker from the point guard position that does not need to score to be the most effective player on the floor.  During the two years that he was with me, he proved to be a player that I could rely on to make the right decision in all aspects of the game.  His ability to score in a variety of ways and to make others around him better enabled us to be a top ten team nationally during his sophomore season.  Brandon’s basketball IQ is very high and his teammates benefitted tremendously at every level.  His winning personality enables him to be an instant favorite with teammates and his unselfish ‘win at all cost’ mentality makes him an instant favorite with coaches.  Brandon is a high percentage can’t miss player.  I highly recommend him and look forward to following his professional success.”

Head Coach Dallis Smith (Westover High) on Shingles…

Brandon one of the most headiest point guards I ever coached at Westover High. He sees the floor amazingly well. He is able to take command of the game and get the ball to the right people at the right time. He a premiere point guard and will be an asset to any team that pick him up and definitely a winner. Not only is he a good player but he is a good person on and off the court. Brandon Shingles is a complete player.
